Personal Safety Equipment
Regular self-inspections of safety equipment are important because they help ensure that your gear will work properly when you need it most. Following a regular maintenance schedule for equipment like PFDs and immersion suits will keep them functioning like they should. The link below provides an overview of how and when you should perform self-inspections on some of the major brands of immersion suits and PFD's and when it's time to have them checked at an official retailer.
